DOD POST-MOVE
Since 1905, Stevens Moving & Storage of the Great Lakes Bay Region has been committed to providing relocation services to military and government personnel. As part of the Stevens family, your feedback is valuable to us!
As such, the Department of Defense (DOD) requires that all military personnel complete a post-move survey. This survey will determine, to an extent, if the DOD will continue to give moving companies the ability to move military personnel in the future.
Please click here for military survey information on how to complete your survey. If you are experiencing any difficulties filling out the survey online, please feel free to call: 800-462-2176. You will then be prompted to answer a few post-move survey questions which may take a minute or less to answer.
In order for the DOD to process your survey correctly, you need to ensure you have your Government Bill of Lading (GBL) document. Your GBL will have an alphanumeric serial number consisting of four letters, followed by seven numbers. Generally, this serial number will be shown on documents affiliated with your military move or emails from the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) throughout your move.
MILITARY RESOURCES
If you have any general questions regarding your move including, military shipment status or if your belongings are scheduled to move in or out of storage, please contact the DOD toll-free by phone at 833-MIL-MOVE (833-645-6683).
For any loss or damage claims, please file a claim through the DPS portal. To access your portal, make sure you have your GBL number on hand as well as your Electronic Transportation Acquisition (ETA) login.
